If you think someone sits down and decides what their sexuality is going to be, you’ve officially uttered one of the most stupid opinions I’ve ever heard in my life.
It only adds insult to injury when you use analogies that have nothing to do with “choosing” to be gay.
Ex.: Why would somebody choose that? Idk, why would somebody choose to live on the streets and do drugs?
Ex. 2: It’s kind of like when people choose to kill themselves. It doesn’t just occur one day, it starts with a thought and those thoughts develop.
I’m sorry, but what the actual fuck kind of argument IS that? Being gay is nowhere in the same realm as those things. People who are struggling with addiction and depression are struggling with, to be simply put, a mental illness. Your sexuality isn’t an illness. You don’t choose to be straight, you just are. So why would it even make sense to you to say people CHOOSE to be gay? (And the fact that that argument, while not only being completely based on ignorance, makes problems like addiction and suicide seem trivial. As somebody who had dealt with their brothers being addicts and has seriously battled depression myself…that seriously has me so wound up, that’s another rant entirely. ) I’m sorry but that entire argument is fucking stupid as all get out. #END RANT
If you think that sexuality is 100% the person’s concil
I am so thirsty for emotional and physical intimacy with someone
I want to nuzzle their neck and lay entwined on my bed and lazily kiss their lips and make them food get to know every single curve and contour they have
I want to touch someone with my finger tips and make them feel loved
